I have spent over 25 years in the finance industry, working in management, as support staff, as a compliance officer and in developing business. Over time I began to realize that as banks continued to grow, merge, acquire, and change philosophy and mindset that service was becoming a commodity and that in banking I alone struggled to make a difference for my clients.

I left banking for the third time in April of 2005, explored my options and in June went to school and became a licensed mortgage loan officer. In mortgages and in being self employed I believe I can make a difference in the level of service I provide to my clients and their overall mortgage experience.

In December of 2005 I joined a new sponsorship under Texas Supreme Mortgage, Inc. and Wes Cordeau. A sponsorship is required for all self employed loan officers, as I needed a company name to underwrite my mortgages through. Those that are not self employed are employees of banks and direct mortgage houses and are not required by law to become licensed or bear full responsibility for their actions. Wes's mindset and that of his team fit my philosophy, beliefs and motivation. Through this partnership I was introduced to the By Referral Only program and when I choose to know more about how this program and its mind set worked I realized it was the premise for how I already lived and worked; with integrity, character and honesty but with refined systems that worked on an individual level.

Because the residential market is continuously changing and education and service are important to me, in May 2007 I sat for and passed the General Mortgage Associate (GMA) test and am now only one of five loan consultants in the state of TX to hold this license. Also, in July 2007 I passed a commercial Certificate to better sevice those who are purchasing or refinancing commercial properties. NEW: In March of 2009 assessing the need for people to receive a comprehensive mortgage strategy regarding income, assets, the mortgage rules, fees and credit, The Mortgage and Credit Action Plan was launched and has helped over 20 people build credit and financial awareness as they apply to mortgages.
